Other union locals will be picketing today (Wednesday) in support of Ontario Public Service Employees Union members who’ve been on strike against Community Living Campbellford/Brighton.
Extra picketers will be out in front of Community Living Quinte West in Trenton. OPSEU maintains that organization has been sending its managers to cross picket lines in Campbellford and Brighton.
Another OPSEU local will be picketing Pathways to Independence on Pinnacle Street in Belleville today.
OPSEU says that agency has also been sending managers to cross lines in the Community Living Campbellford/Brighton strike.
About 100 employees have been on strike since March 22, with wages and transportation being the main issues.
