It’s going to be easier to cast your ballot for Reeve, council, and school board candidates in Marmora and Lake in next year’s local elections.
Marmora and Lake is joining other smaller communities in Hastings County and will offer residents internet and telephone voting in the 2018 election.
People will still be able to cast paper ballots at the municipal office in Marmora if they wish.
It’s hoped the new voting methods will increase voter turnout. They will certainly result in election results being known faster.
