Heritage Canada is chipping in to help with Canada Day celebrations in Quinte West.
The city has announced a grant of just under $5,000 which will help to beef up the annual fireworks display and to fund a unique trolley service to help move people around during the festivities.
Other attractions this year include the Firefit Challenge, multi-cultural village and concert at the Centennial Park Amphitheatre.
Organizers are also promoting the usual kids games, along with a strong man competition, petting zoo, parade, vendors and more.
