Negotiations have broken off in a labour dispute involving those who work with adults with developmental disabilities in east Northumberland County.
Almost 100 employees with Community Living Campbellford-Brighton went on strike on March 21st after members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union voted cent against a tentative two-year contract.
A local OP-SEU official says negotiators from the union and the employer returned to the bargaining table yesterday in an attempt to resolve their differences but no progress was made.
No date has been set for the resumption of talks.
