Belleville’s Cassidy Vinkle and the Clarkson Golden Knights Women’s Hockey team are headed to the NCAA’s Frozen Four Championship in St. Charles Missouri.
Clarkson defeated Belleville’s Hanna Bunton and the Cornell Big Red 3-1 in the quarter final game played in Potsdam New York. Bunton assisted on Cornell’s lone goal.
Vinkle and Bunton are graduates of St. Theresa Secondary and the Belleville Bearcats program.
Vinkle and company will play the University of Minnesota in the semi finals on Friday.
