The Ontario Ministry of Labour has closed its investigation into a gas leak that happened during construction at the Yardmen Arena in Belleville on Friday.
At 8 a.m. emergency crews were called after an excavator cracked a four-inch line outside Yardmen Arena’s west wall.
Ministry of Labour spokeswoman Janet Deline says investigators were called in Friday to assess the situation.
The incident disrupted operations at the Cannifton Road site for about three hours.
