The Hastings-Quinte Social Services department has undergone a major reorganization which is aimed at making a difference for its clients.
Consultant Michael Rowland recenty submitted his report to Hastings County council on the reorganizaton and integration of the social services department. Rowland said it will save future costs and streamline services.
CAO Jim Pine says, under the old system, clients might have to go to seven different locations to get information or access services.
