A local businessman is set to receive a major honour from the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce.
Paul Whitley will be given honourary lifetime membership, when the chamber celebrates its President’s Dinner and Annual General Meeting, at Occasions By The Bay, on March 23rd.
Whitley, a former chair of the city’s Economic Development Committee, is being honoured for his success in running Whitley Insurance and Financial Services, which includes four offices and more than 40 staff across the Quinte Region.
He’s also being recognized for his various philanthropic contributions to causes like the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation and others.
