A Quinte West woman fought with Quinte West police officers after incidents at a Trenton bar last night (Sunday).
Quinte West OPP report they had to ticket a woman for being intoxicated in a public place after removing her from the establishment.
Police say the woman returned to the same business later and OPP were called again. As officers escorted her outside she started fighting and managed to hit one of the officers several times in the face with a closed fist.
Thirty-three year old Brenda Davis was charged with Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest, and Assaulting a Peace Officer.
The officer was not seriously injured.
