The city of Belleville has four of its properties on the market, selling through a local realtor.
The property at 315 Church street is the former Irish Hall which the city bought with the intention of using it for archive storage which instead went to the public library.
The property is now zoned general commercial.
In a report, Planning Manager Art MacKay said there was an offer to purchase for the purpose of using the building as an after-school centre with activities to include fitness, homework and learning programs.
The old fire hall on Dundas Street East was rezoned to highway commercial since it is part of the Bayview Mall Dundas Street East Corridor, a designated commercial area.
A third site is at 116 Pinnacle Street, now being used as the Build Belleville offices.
It is rezoned from community facility to general commercial, allowing up to a six-storey building with residential above the first floor.
The former Cannifton town hall is also up for sale.
Councillor Jackie Denyes told city council recently the historic plaque should be retained and installed in an appropriate location.
