For the first time in its history the Outdoor Sportsman Award has gone to a fishing TV show, and it’s produced by a Belleville company.
Dave Mercer’s Facts of Fishing TV series, now in its 10th season, is produced by Belleville company Vantage Point Media House.
The award, the “Golden Moose” the highest honour in outdoor television was presented this past week in Las Vegas.
Mercer says the show allows him to share the environment with viewers.
The show’s executive producer Nick Pujic says the company operates in 174 countries but Belleville is the perfect place to locate.
