A 27-year-old Belleville man has been charged following an incident in Rossmore Wednesday afternoon.
At 1:30 p.m. Prince Edward County OPP were called to a residence in the hamlet to investigate a complaint alleging a man had threatened to harm another family member and damage property. Prince Edward OPP Constable Connor Durkin confirmed the family member was a man.
Joshua Ryan Gannon was arrested and charged with one count each of uttering threats and breaching a recognizance under the Criminal Code.
Gannon is being held in custody pending a show cause hearing in Belleville court Thursday.
