UPDATED: 5 P.M.:
A rainfall warning including a severe thunderstorm watch issued for the Quinte area has ended.
Early Tuesday afternoon, Environment Canada said about 40 to 60 mm of rain was expected with scattered thunderstorms to develop over portions of Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Eastern and Western Northumberland County, Tyendinaga Township Deseronto and Napanee.
That warning has since ended. However scattered showers are still expected with a risk of a thundershower Tuesday night. It’s expected to clear over night with sun and cloud and a High of 26 (33 with the Humidex) in the forecast for Wednesday.
