A 21-year-old Picton woman is in Kingston General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a crash between a Honda Civic and dump truck on Highway 37 near Roslin Tuesday morning.
Centre Hastings OPP Constable Lisa Robson says crews arrived at the scene near Shannonville road around 7:30 a.m where an investigation determined a red Honda Civic was westbound on Shannonville Road and failed to stop at the stop sign. It entered onto Highway 37 and collided with a southbound dump truck.
Robson says the female passenger had to be extricated from the Honda adding it took about an hour.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man sustained minor injuries and did not need to go to the hospital.
The driver of the dump truck, a 45 year old Tweed man was transported to Belleville General Hospital with minor injuries.
The Highway 37 was closed for approximately 3 hours and traffic was detoured through Roslin.
Robson says the crash is still under investigation with charges pending.
