A Belleville man will stand trial next year on a second degree murder charge.
Fifty-five-year-old Philip Post was charged late last year following the death of William McFarland.
54-year-old McFarland died in Kingston General Hospital after being assaulted at his home on November 15, 2015.
Crown Attorney Mike Lunski said a judicial pre-trial was held Monday in Belleville Superior Court and concluded four weeks will be needed for the trial beginning on November 20, 2017.
