Prince Edward County fire crews are on the scene of a large grass fire in Hillier.
Crews were called around 9:20 p.m. to Closson Road where the blaze quickly spread to about five acres in size.
Unconfirmed reports indicate an open fire pit is to blame for the fire.
Crews quickly got the blaze under control in about 20 minutes.
No reports of any injuries or damage to any property.
Motorists be advised Closson Road is blocked between Benway & Chase Roads.
