OPP have identified a Wellington man as the victim of a fatal crash in Hallowell Ward this morning.
Emergency crews arrived to the scene, on County Road 2 between Closson Road and Wilson Road, around 4:30 a.m. and say the car was already engulfed in flames at that time.
66 year-old John Pickell was pronounced dead at the scene, after investigators say his car left the roadway and hit a tree.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and road closures that were in place for a several hours have been lifted.
