More details are emerging after a young boy collided with a truck while riding his bicycle Friday afternoon.
Belleville police Sergeant Mike Doucette confirms an eight-year-old boy was riding his bike in the area of 429 Bleecker Avenue around 3:20 p.m. when the collision happened.
Doucette says the boy has been released from hospital after suffering a broken leg.
Forensics and traffic management units closed the area at Bleecker and Lime Street all the way up to Station Street for about two hours to investigate a cause that is still yet to be determined.
