The City of Belleville says a major portion of this year’s downtown work is nearing completion.
Deputy Director of Engineering Ray Ford says, by the end of next week, water, sanitary and sewer work on Phase 2 of the revitalization will near completion.
Ford says this is the most challenging portion of the project.
Ford says Veridian officials, along with Bell and Cogeco TV, will soon be on site, laying wiring for electricity, cable and internet.
