Emergency response teams are on the scene where a teen has injured himself taking a recreational jump off the Vanderwater bridge in Tweed.
Crews were called at 1 p.m. to the area of Esker and Vanderwater Roads where initial reports indicate a 15-year-old broke his leg after jumping into the water.
It is also reported the teen isn’t in distress but will have to be assisted out of the water.
Motorists be advised there could be slow downs in that area as medical and fire teams assist with the situation.
