The Hastings Prince Edward Health Unit says higher levels of E.coli bacteria were found at Wellington Beach along Wellington Bay.
Warning signs have been posted for this weekend.
The Health Unit will notify the public when it’s safe for swimming.
All other local beaches are safe for taking a dip in.
