A 27-year-old Loyalist Township man is charged after a utility trailer is said to have been stolen from a home on Davy Street by a man driving an ATV Wednesday night.
Officers with the Loyalist OPP located a suspect operating the ATV north bound on County Road 7 in Bath.
The suspect failed to stop for police and fled on foot into a wooded area off Doyle Road. He was tracked down by the OPP Canine Unit.
A police investigation determined the red Honda four wheeler had been reported stolen on May 20 from a field on Palace Road, Napanee.
Corey Keller is charged with possession of break in tools, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, possession of stolen property over $5,000, driving while disqualified and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
