Prince Edward County received an update on the H.J. McFarland facility at its committee of the whole meeting Thursday.
The report indicated that a number of the issues that have been troubling the facility have been resolved.
It indicated staff members have been receiving intense training, there is still a shortfall in leadership, and staff turnover continues.

For a second time council was asked to consider donating the former Hillier fire hall to a community group for an arts centre. Mayor Quaiff.
A bid to regulate yard sales in Prince Edward County went down to defeat at the meeting.
Mayor Quaiff voted against the proposed bylaw.
