A former Stirling man has plead guilty to a charge of Indignity To A Human Body.
31 year old Matthew Vincent Benoit was charged, after the body of a 27 year old from the Niagara region was located near Kemptville Creek, October 14, 2015.
Benoit was charged with Indignity To A Human Body and Conspiracy To Commit an Indictable Offense, however plead to just the first charge Thursday.
Two others have been charged in the case as well.
No charges have been laid involving the man’s death, but with what happened to him, following death.
He was placed in a duffle bag and placed in the creek.
The body was located days later.
Benoit will receive a sentence this summer in a Brockville court.
