May is all about celebrating the return of the migratory birds in Prince Edward County.
The annual Spring Birding Festival kicks off tomorrow and runs until May 23.
Cheryl Anderson with the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory says the event is for everyone, you don’t have to be an avid birder to enjoy the weekend walks.
Anderson says there is something for the kids too.
It costs $5 per person and gets started at 8 a.m. at Point Traverse Woods.

Also new this year is PEPtBO’s new Birding Map that features 18 birding sites in the County in both English and French.
Maps are available for free at the Observatory.
