The Battle of Quinte series is tied at one game apiece.
Wellington hung on to beat the Trenton Goldenhawks 3 to 2 last night at
the Essroc Centre.
The Trenton Goldenhawks fell behind 3 nothing in the second but but scored two
to come close.
Both goalkeepers were kept busy with the Dukes outshooting the G Hawks 42 to 41.
Dukes goalie Sam Tanguay credits his teammates for doing their jobs.
Meanwhile, Trenton Goldenhawks netminder, Daniel Urbani, said he was glad there were
a lot of shots on goal, especially early on.

Meanwhile, Wellington Dukes Head Coach, Marty Abrams was happy with the complete effort his
team made last night, and says he’s still got some coaching to do heading into Monday night’s game 3
in Trenton.
