It did not take long for a local MPP to attack the Ontario Liberal government at Queen’s Park.
Todd Smith discussed health care and doctors leaving the province and the Quinte region.
He says things have to change.
He also criticized the government over layoffs of front line workers.
Smith told the members that 200 staff have left Quinte Health Care and the majority are nurses.
He added to his talk the Ontario Pension Plan.
Just on the heels of the province announcing they won’t implement the ORPP for at least another year, Todd Smith criticized the plan, saying it is another burden on the bottom line.
During his talk today, Smith also discussed hydro and the recent election win in Whitby Oshawa.
