For the 10th time this OJHL season the Trenton Golden Hawks have gone to overtime. And for the 7th time, they come out a winner. Hunter Fargey scored on the power play 2:19 into o.t. to give Trenton a 4-3 win in Cobourg. Kevin Lavoie, Liam Morgan and Curtis Harvey added to the G-Hawks goal total.
Trenton is home to Oakville tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, an overtime loss to Wellington last week has knocked the Golden Hawks out of first place on the Canadian rankings. Trenton falls to number 3 behind the Soo Thunderbirds of the Northern Ontario League and the Penticton Vees of the B.C. Hockey League.
