A large seasonal trailer park just south of Consecon in Prince Edward County is one step closer to getting the thumbs up on a proposed expansion.
At Thursday’s County council’s committee of the whole meeting, Bay Meadows Park Inc, presented a site plan to add an additional 23 trailer sites to its already 153 lot park.
Ashley Rivet, the executive planner for Ruth Victor and Associates addressed the committee explaining how the park had attained environmental certificates from the Ministry of Environment to move ahead on the plans for new sites plus new roads to them.
Currently the park has a recreation centre, outdoor pool and maintenance building.
Final approval of the plans will come before council at its next meeting.
