Too long and too negative.
That is the opinion of the members of the newly created Belleville “Citizens against Racism and Discrimination”
committee.
After a couple of meetings, it was decided to ask city council to approve a name change.
Committee members believe a more positive message would be sent by the name “Belleville Inclusion” committee.
Belleville council will vote on the request at its meeting at 5 this afternoon at city hall.
