The Eastbound 4-0-1 remains open despite an early morning crash which injured two people.
Northumberland O-P-P say it happened as early as 3-am when the driver of a vehicle reportedly swerved to avoid a deer and sent the car down a steep embankment.
A female passenger was air lifted to a hospital in Toronto with serious injuries.
