Plans for a restaurant and bar in time for the May 2-4 weekend at Myers Pier in Belleville won’t become reality. City officials are combing through proposals for the project and Director of Recreation and Community Services Mark Fluhrer say the initial funding for clean up of the area was key in allowing the city time to view the proposals. Fluhrer says city council will likely be presented with the progress in a month or two and at that point they will be in a place to make a long term investment hopefully by 2011.
