The Prince Edward County Fire Department has issued a burning ban following a large grass fire yesterday.
Fire Chief Scott Manlowe made the call yesterday after a blaze covered about 6 acres on Hwy 62 north of Bloomfield yesterday.
Dry weather and winds are making condition too hazardous… so a total ban on outdoor burning has been put in place.
