The camping season is underway at three provincial parks in the Quinte Area.
Some of the campgrounds open at Presqu’ile, Sandbanks and Bon Echo parks today.
Sandbanks Superintendent Don Bucholtz says there isn’t a big demand this early in the year, so fewer than half of the 549 sites will be available.. The park campgrounds are open seven days a week until mid-October, with more opening throughout the spring as the number of campers increases.
