Residents of the Deerfield Park subdivision in Belleville’s Thurlow Ward get another look at the proposals for adjacent Boyd Park this evening.
Environmental designer Kevin Tribble says opinions expressed by the residents, following a meeting last year, have been taken into consideration. He says the idea is to leave it in a natural state, with walking trails. Tribble says the site for a playground has been moved across the creek, and there will be no vehicle access into the park, except for emergency and work traffic. Establishment of a playground would depend on resident fundraising.
