Belleville based Bioniche Life Sciences has received a 750-thousand investment from the Federal Government for the construction of a fermentation facility. MP Daryl Kramp and Minister of State Gary Goodyear made the announcement this morning at the Dundas Street East biopharmaceutical company. The facility is part of the Company’s Animal Health and Food Safety Vaccine Manufacturing Centre, currently under construction in Belleville. President & CEO Graeme McRae says “The pilot-scale fermentation facility will be a critical add-on to our new state-of-the-art Vaccine Manufacturing Centre.
