The provincial and federal governments are improving safety at two locations on the 4-0-1 in the Quinte area.
M-P Rick Norlock says 600-thousand dollars will be spent on rehabilitating the underpass at Stockdale Road, just north of Trenton. Another 1.5-million dollars goes toward overpass improvements at Hurley Road and Highway 4-0-1, near Colborne.
He and M-P-P Lou Rinaldi announced the federal-provincial funding for both projects this morning.
