More details have been released about a house fire in Belleville’s east end wednesday.
Fire Prevention Officer Lyle Quennel says crews arrived at the blaze just before 3pm and saw smoke coming from the roof… and edges of the upper floor windows.
Firefighters were able to get things under control quickly… and limit major damage to the upper level… with the rest of the home receiving smoke and water damage.
Investigators determined the cause of the blaze was accidental… damage was estimated at 75 thousand dollars.
