Smoke alarm charges against a Belleville motel have been upheld in court. The Motel-5 on North Front Street was charged with three offences back in early January….and, owners were set to challenge the orginial fines in court yesterday…however, no one from the motel showed up for the court proceedings. The originals fines totalling more than 700-dollars were upheld.
