Three companies have been short-listed to design, build, finance and maintain the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse in Belleville.
The new facility, at Coleman and Bridge Streets, will improve access to courthouse services by consolidating the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice, now operating at three locations in Belleville and one in Trenton.
Based on a request for qualifications process that began last August, and following evaluations, three top ranking companies were short-listed and will be invited to submit proposals for the project this May. They are Balfour Beatty Capital, Brookfield Partnerships Quinte, and Carillion Courthouse Solutions. Construction isn’t excepted to be complete until at least 20-14.
