The outdoor burning bans are now over in Prince Edward County, Quinte West and Stirling-Rawdon Township..
The restrictions came into affect late last week because of a rash of controlled burns earlier in the week that got away, due to the very dry conditions. However, rainfall this week has eased the situation, and the three fire departments now says it’s safe to burn outside.
Belleville lifted its outdoor burning ban yesterday.
