The former base commander at CFB Trenton remains under a suicide watch at the Quinte Detention Centre after reportedly trying to take his own life over the Easter Weekend . A published report says Colonel Russell Williams tried to kill himself early yesterday morning at the Napanee jail where he’s being held for the murders of Jessica Lloyd and Marie France Comeau. He’s reported to have written a suicide note in mustard on the wall of his segregation cell, jammed the lock on the cell door, then stuffed a cardboard toilet paper roll filled with foil down his throat. Jail staff managed to force their way into his cell to save him. On top of the murder charges…Colonel Williams is charged with two sexual assaults and home invasions in his neighborhood northeast of Tweed.
