The committee looking at the futures of two small elementary schools south of Picton meets tonight to finalize its report to the board of education.
South Prince Edward Accomodation Review Committee chairperson Heather Zantigh says public input is still encouraged even though administration’s recommendation to close South Marysburgh school, and expand Athol School to a kindergarten to Grade eight facility, has been accepted. The meeting starts at five o’clock at South Marysburgh… The school board is expected to accept the committee’s recommendation at a board meeting in June.
