A Mississauga woman has been charged in connection with a fatal traffic accident on the 4-0-1 near Odessa.
An eastbound car crossed the median late Friday afternoon and collided with an S-U-V travelling westbound, killing one person and injuring three others. Twenty-two-year-old Natasha Kaluarachchy was charged by Napanee O-P-P with careless driving. A passenger in her vehicle, 24-year-old Syed Hussain of Toronto died at the scene. Kaluarachchy, another of her passengers, a Mississauga man, and the driver of the S-U-V, 23-year-old Zachary Rollins of Madoc were all taken to Kingston General Hospital.
