Belleville Police are dealing with a rash of break and enters in the city.
Sometime on Saturday, a lap top computer was allegedly stolen from a Loyalist College residence room… and a home on Willard Street was burgled…with two guitars and an amplifier allegedly stolen.
Overnight… two businesses were allegedly broken into… and in one case, several witnesses report having seen three women running from a store with wedding dresses in tow.
Police are also investigating a Victoria Avenue home invasion that occurred around eight last night…and an attempted burglary that happened aroudn one a-m on Cedar Street.
Meanwhile… police are pleased to report an arrest has been made in what they’re calling a “crime spree”.
A 16-year-old Belleville youth was arrested just after midnight… in connection to thefts from cars.
Police say they have unclaimed property from the crime spree… and are asking any vehicle owners who are missing items to phone the police station.
