A lot of changes to Sandbanks Provincial Park and other local facilities.
M-P Daryl Kramp and M-P-P Leona Dombrowsky announced 1.3-million dollars in Infrastructure Stimulus funding today.
The projects include a new trail, rehabilitating roads and building a new picnic shelter at Sandbanks, installing visitor shelters at Silent Lake Park near Cardiff, and new Minivault toilets at Lake on the Mountain Park east of Picton. The federal and provincial governments are contributing 657-thousand dollars each.
