A municipal council north of Napanee likes what it’s hearing so far about seven proposed solar farms.
Stone Mills township politicians have responded positively to a letter of endorsement request from the engineering company representing Effisolar Energy Corporation.
Effisolar recently announced plans for 9 local solar farms, including one each on Old Highway Two in Belleville and the Napanee Area, and the seven in Stone Mills. A public hearing on the township’s proposed farms is scheduled for March 22nd. Belleville’s public meeting goes tomorrow afternoon at the Hillcrest Community Centre.
