Gunshots rangout on an otherwise quiet east hill in Belleville early this morning. It’s believed two people were shot….but, it’s not yet known how serious the injuries are after some kind of confrontation at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Albert Street. A witness tells our newsroom one of the victims made it to BGH on his own…..and, another victim was laying unresponsive and motionless outside one of the homes when paramedics arrived and CPR was performed at the scene. Police tape is surrounding three homes…one older style home at 153 Victoria and two older style townhouses. It’s believed a 21-year old man is in custody. A witness says there were 6 or 7 young people outside the home but they were quickly whisked away by police gathering evidence in the case.
