A friend of a Trenton woman murdered three weeks ago claims the 48-year-old retired stripper gave her life to save another friend. Cathy Bateman told a Memorial service in Trenton Lisa Marie Palmiere stepped in front of a gun aimed at her boyfriend on Sidney Street on February 27th, and was shot and killed. The Northumberland News reports an ex-boyfriend also allegedly told Palmiere he planned to kill her during a drive down Highway 4-0-1 two years ago, but she jumped clear of the moving car. 30-year-old Jason Frost and 49-year-old Michael Garniss are charged with first-degree murder in the death of Palmiere. The O-P-P have never released information saying a fourth person, Palmiere’s alleged boyfriend, was involved in last month’s incident.
