A gastro-intestinal outbreak is over at one local nursing home, but the illness continues at three other facilities.
Carol Snell of the Hastings-Prince Edward Health Unit says the outbreak at Westgate Lodge in Belleville was declared over this morning. There have been no new symptoms of the norovirus in the past four days among residents who were sick, and those who hadn’t been ill.
However, gastro-intestinal outbreaks are still reported at Crown Ridge Nursing Home and Trent Valley Lodge in Trenton, and Picton Manor.
